5 Days VS Fast Fashion

A five-day week gives our teams structure without making work the centre of every day. It creates space to focus during the week and genuinely switch off when the working week is over.

The Five-Day Week at EKKO
At EKKO, we believe good work comes from balance. That is why our five-day working week is more than a schedule. It is part of how we build a workplace where people can do their best work, stay connected, and have time to recharge.

The Usual Way
In many factories, a six-day week is simply the standard. Saturdays are treated as regular working days, and rest is squeezed into a single day that often goes to laundry, errands, and catching up on sleep. Over time, that leaves little room for family, friends, or anything else that makes life outside of work meaningful.

The EKKO Way
We do things differently. Our teams work five focused days, then step away for two. That extra day changes what a weekend can be: time to rest properly, spend time with the people who matter, pursue personal interests, or focusing on their side income.

Better Hours, Not Just Fewer
Designing, developing, manufacturing, and delivering great products takes focus. Productivity is not about spending more hours at work. It is about making the hours we have count. Rested people bring more energy and care to their work, and that shows in what we make.

Work Hard, Then Switch Off
When the working week ends, we want our people to feel comfortable stepping away. Emails can wait. Projects can pick up again on Monday. Rest is not something that needs to be earned. It is part of a sustainable working rhythm.

Six days is common. Five is our choice. Five days to focus, two days to reset. A better rhythm for us.
